Boys 3rds Soccer Welcomes a Large Turnout

By: Patrick Mariboe ’14

The boys thirds soccer team is a noticeably large one, with 28 players looking to kick off the season with a win.

The team is coached by Martin Patt and Tristam Wood, who have recently decided to divide the team into a blue team and a gold team due to the large amount of players signed up. Each team will alternate every week which will encourage the players to show good sportsmanship and hard work during the season.

The coaches focused on passing and shooting for the first few practices so that the players would fully understand the fundamentals of the sport.

Patt and Wood announced Nicholas Rahaman ’16 as the captain of the team due to his leadership and commitment. They are looking to add three more captains in the coming weeks.
