On Saturday, September 2, students and faculty participated in Peddie’s Blue and Gold Games. Each person was assigned a team, either blue or gold, and had the opportunity to sign up for events, such as flag football and capture the flag. When a team won an event, a point would be awarded to that team. At the end of the day, all of the points were counted, and the team with the most points won. This year, the gold team won for the third year in a row.
The games were a great way for people to connect with their classmates and friends before classes started the following Monday. The whole school came together and played fun games. As Sophie Dicola ’25 said, “Being able to work with my peers and come together as a community was a lot of fun.” Students enjoyed having the chance to participate in games with their friends before the start of classes.
The Blue and Gold Games were a fantastic way to end summer vacation and reunite the students before the school year began. While there is some controversy about which team is better, we can all agree that the Blue and Gold Games were a lot of fun.
