My peers should choose me to be one of their representatives because I want to be a vocalization of the community. I want to be everyone’s perspective placed into one person. Everyone should be involved when making decisions, not just individuals, so I want to be a representative of my entire grade’s beliefs, not just my own. Qualities I possess to do this are my understanding and my patience. I can understand situations from numerous perspectives, which allows for a fair opinion. Meanwhile, my patience is valuable because I am willing to hear everyone out, and take the time to hear their opinions. Finally, an idea I bring to student council is my belief that all classes should have multiple class trips. Multiple class trips would bring together the Peddie community because students would be able to spend time with people who they might not usually within academic environments, so it opens up opportunities for bonding, making each class more connected than what it was before the trip.

How will you ensure that your leadership is inclusive and representative of the entire student body?
I wish to hear from everyone’s perspective so I have the best idea what is happening throughout the entire student body.

What initiatives do you have in mind to improve the overall school experience for your fellow students?
I will try to get students to be more heard and understood by teachers, for example, if a student has a ridiculous workload from one teacher, then for the day another teacher would have a lighter workload, to balance it out and allow the student to have manageable work they are able to finish without sacrificing anything else.
