I have a lot of experience in leadership positions, such as being a member of my middle school student government. Through this position, I have worked hard to represent everyone and bring their ideas to the table, and I plan to maintain this at peddie if i am elected. Similarly, I am open to engagement and other student ideas, and I am a good listener and a confident, thoughtful speaker. My primary idea is to introduce student fan busses to go to peddie sport away games. I would work with the student body and peddie faculty to create a plan for a mini bus of students to attend at least 1 away game of each sport over the season. This will increase school spirit at sporting events, and will also establish more opportunities for students to socialize.

How will you ensure that your leadership is inclusive and representative of the entire student body?
I will create an anonymous suggestion box in the deans office, which will introduce opportunities for engagement and other student ideas. This will promote inclusiveness, and encourage the entire student body to contribute their suggestions. I will make sure that ideas submitted in the suggestion box are discussed among the student reps and considered for implementation.

What initiatives do you have in mind to improve the overall school experience for your fellow students?
My plan is to offer an opportunity for students to go to an away game for each of our sports teams over the course of the season. In addition to attending away games, another goal is to incorporate more once a term SLAs similar to the broadway shows. We are fortunate to be located near many stadiums and museums, and my plan is to attend more games or shows in the future. For example, peddie is only an hour drive from the MetLife stadium or the Liberty Science Center. This provides the chance to bond with other peddie students, along with a new experience for students from far away.
