I want to be a Freshman Student Council representative because I am excited to be a part of a community bigger than myself. I stand for inclusivity, embrace positivity, and am loyal to the Blue and Gold. I will bring my excitement and open mind to ensure that the voice of our class is heard and valued.
How will you ensure that your leadership is inclusive and representative of the entire student body?
As a leader, I want to bring the freshman class together while allowing everyone to grow and flourish in their own way. With my leadership skills, I’ll organize class-wide events to encourage connection, collaboration, and give everyone a chance to get involved. My empathy will make sure that everyone feels included and valued, while embracing strengths that they bring to the group. My goal is to create a class where we can all grow together while respecting and celebrating each person’s uniqueness.
What initiatives do you have in mind to improve the overall school experience for your fellow students?
To improve the overall school experience for my fellow classmates, I’d organize fun, inclusive class-wide events to allow students to connect and relax. I would organize class trips and set up a 9th grade “FanFest” before basketball games to create an environment where even the youngest students can feel like they are a part of the spirited atmosphere. I’d introduce activities like puppy yoga to relieve stress and encourage relaxation. These events would help create a more enjoyable and connected school environment for everyone.
