Why do you really want to serve in this position? 

I want to serve this position because I want to lead my peers and do what is best for the Peddie community.

Why should your peers choose you to represent them on the Student Council and in the Peddie community? What qualities do you possess that will allow you to be a successful representative? What ideas do you want to bring to Student Council?

My peers should choose me because I want the decisions I make to be reflections of their thoughts. I am a great listener and I am willing to hear anyone out on an idea that they have. Some ideas that I want to bring to student council are monthly theme days, where one day a month people could dress up for a theme. I feel like that would be a fun event that would get school spirit up. Also, I feel like a suggestion box would be useful, because people could present their ideas anonymously.

How will you ensure that your leadership is inclusive and representative of the entire student body?

I will ensure that everybody who has a suggestion has a way to contact me and let me know what their suggestion is.

What initiatives do you have in mind to improve the overall school experience for your fellow students?

Like I said previously, I believe monthly spirit days would be a great idea for school spirit and would make school much more fun and give people something to look forward to.

How might your academic and extracurricular obligations next year impact your role as a member of Student Council?

It would make it challenging to do time directly after school, but I would be able to participate in student council during the day, during periods like DMX, but overall it would be a challenge I’m willing to embrace.
