Why do you really want to serve in this position? 

I want to serve this position because I want to learn more about my peers and help them become the best version of themselves. I want to hear about fun ideas they may have to bring everyone together. I want to serve as well because the experience will help me grow more by allowing myself to get more comfortable with my peers and help me speak out about their ideas and mine

Why should your peers choose you to represent them on the Student Council and in the Peddie community? What qualities do you possess that will allow you to be a successful representative? What ideas do you want to bring to Student Council?

I would be a good fit for this position because I’ll speak out for my peers if they have any ideas that they would for student to make happen. Qualities I possess are open-mindedness, patience, trustworthy, and supportive.

How will you ensure that your leadership is inclusive and representative of the entire student body?

I will talk to my peers about how they feel about certain things and if they have any ideas. I’m willing to accept feedback and listen to make changes because these are great qualities that leaders possess.

What initiatives do you have in mind to improve the overall school experience for your fellow students?

I want to do bingo night for our grade so we can all have fun together and interact with one another more. Have fun activities planned during the spring term, like playing volleyball and having music play in the background.

How might your academic and extracurricular obligations next year impact your role as a member of Student Council?

It will be a bit more challenging to handle next year’s obligations, plus student council, but I will be responsible and organized by writing down my obligations for student council and school.
