Being on the discipline committee often requires that you put the needs of the school ahead of your personal feelings and friendships. In light of this, why should your peers choose you to represent them on a committee which makes decisions that have a profound impact on individuals and the school community as a whole? What qualities do you possess that make you a good candidate for this position?
I believe I should be considered for this role because I am someone who listens and is honest and thoughtful, even when situations are incredibly difficult. I strive to balance empathy and accountability, allowing me to consider both an individual’s circumstances and the well-being of the school. I care about this school and everyone in it, and I want to help create a community that promotes respect and responsibility.
How might your academic and extracurricular obligations next year impact your role as a member of the Disciplinary Committee?
Throughout my time at Peddie, I have been able to balance both my academic and extracurricular obligations. My time management skills will allow me to take on this role while still fulfilling my other activities.
