Why should your peers choose you to represent them on the Student Council and in the Peddie community? What qualities do you possess that will allow you to be a successful representative? What ideas do you want to bring to Student Council?

Hello, my name is Massimo Sheinin and I am a boarder from Rumson, New Jersey. Some of my hobbies are playing soccer, wrestling, and playing guitar. You may recognize me from the Blair Day community meeting, where I sang Eminem, or on the soccer field on Blair Day when I relentlessly defended against the onslaught of Blair attackers. I also have two younger siblings who have taught me a lot about leadership and empathy. Due to all this, I embody qualities essential for effective leadership in the Student Council and the Peddie community. My dedication, empathy, and proactive attitude enable me to actively listen to my peers’ concerns and make changes based on what they want. Being a very outgoing person, I strongly believe in collaboration, striving to create an environment where every individual’s ideas and perspectives are valued. If elected, I will uplift the voices of my peers and help make Peddie a more tightly bonded community. I’m committed to working tirelessly advocating for positive change and making our freshman year a memorable one.

What have you enjoyed most at Peddie this fall?
My favorite thing at Peddie this fall is Blair Day. It was really fun to play and watch other
people play against Blair.

What are some clubs, activities, teams, or groups that you’re a part of on campus?
Some clubs and activities that I am a part of are varsity soccer, varsity wrestling, secretary of the Peddie Sneaker Club, the outdoors club, and the coffee club.

What is your favorite Peddie tradition so far?
My favorite Peddie tradition was Blair day. It was super fun playing in and watching all the games.

What’s your favorite holiday?
My favorite holiday is Fourth of July because it is super fun to be at the beach watching fireworks, grilling, and going in the ocean.

What is your favorite Peddie memory?
My favorite Peddie memory is playing soccer on Blair day. It was super fun especially when we scored.

What’s your favorite TV show?
My favorite tv show is Phineas and Ferb. I used to watch it all the time and Perry the platypus is very cool.

What are some things you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I like to hang out with people in my dorm.
