“We invite all women of Peddie!” said Ms. McKnight, the Associate Director of Engagement and Reunions.
On Monday, April 13, 2026, Peddie held its fourth annual We Soar family style dinner in the dining hall at the Caspersen Campus Center.
Multiple generations of alumni joined all the boarding students and selected faculty members at the family style tables.
Around 30 alumnae returned to attend the event, with each table having one alumna joining a faculty member and 8 students.
As usual, select sophomore and junior students served as the waiters.
Each table was given a list of suggested questions that could be asked of an alumna, such as “What was your favorite class at Peddie?” and “What was your favorite Peddie memory?”
These questions, along with additional prompting by the faculty members, ignited meaningful conversations and afforded students the opportunity to engage with those who had once been in their shoes.
“It was really a meaningful experience, where I could see firsthand just how much Peddie sets you up for success in life,” said Jiyoun Kim ’29. “I even met an alumna who was part of the Peddie News during her time here!”
Overall, the We Soar family style dinner once again offered a unique opportunity for genuine connections between students and alumnae, as well as heartfelt reunions between alumnae.
The event solidified the connection between Peddie graduates, bringing them back to campus once more to reconnect with each other while also meeting the current students and faculty of Peddie.
