Why should your peers choose you to represent them on the Student Council and in the Peddie community? What qualities do you possess that will allow you to be a successful representative? What ideas do you want to bring to Student Council?
Hi, I’m Zoe Tashjian and I’m a boarder from Salt Lake City, Utah. One thing you should know about me is that I’m extremely social. I love talking to people and learning more about them which I think is a good trait to have when you have to speak for the whole student body. I also think I am very sociable and easy to approach. I want people in our grade to be able to come to me and tell me their ideas without being scared or nervous to share it, because they shouldn’t be. Another quality of mine that I think is very important for the role of class rep is confidence. I am an extremely confident person and am not afraid to speak up about issues big or small.

I would use my platform as a class rep to try to increase freshman representation in the Peddie community. I would work with the upper class reps to design new class activities, to plan a class trip, and coordinate a new whole school activity. I’ve really enjoyed my time at Peddie so far and I would be excited to speak on behalf of the class of 2027.

What have you enjoyed most at Peddie this fall?
I have enjoyed being a part of the swim team, I have found a really amazing group of girls. I feel like the Peddie community drives me to be my best so that’s pretty great as well.

What are some clubs, activities, teams, or groups that you’re a part of on campus?
Im a part of the swim team

What is your favorite Peddie tradition so far?
Definitely running around the bonfire

What’s your favorite holiday?
Halloween or new years

What is your favorite Peddie memory?
Saturday nights in general but specifically freshman musical

Bridgerton

What are some things you like to do in your free time?
I love being with my friends, swimming, and going to the gym
