Why do you really want to serve in this position?
I want to serve in this position because I really care about our freshman class and I want to help make our first year of high school a good experience for everyone. I’m someone who listens, and I want my friends and classmates to feel like their ideas and problems are heard. I also want to help plan events and activities that are actually fun and useful for us, and work with teachers and other students to improve our school life.
Why should your peers choose you to represent them on the Student Council and in the Peddie community? What qualities do you possess that will allow you to be a successful representative? What ideas do you want to bring to Student Council?
My peers should choose me to represent them on Student Council because I genuinely listen to what people have to say and care about making Peddie a better place for everyone. I am responsible and organized, so I will make sure to follow through on the ideas and concerns my classmates share with me. I’m kind and positive, which helps me work well with others and create a friendly environment where everyone feels included. If I’m chosen, I want to bring ideas like easier ways for students to share their opinions, fun events that help us all connect, and projects that support our well-being and make school life less stressful. I really want to be a voice for my grade and help make our time at Peddie something we all enjoy and feel proud of.
How will you ensure that your leadership is inclusive and representative of the entire student body?
I will make sure my leadership includes everyone by listening to all students, encouraging their ideas, and creating events where everyone feels welcome. I want to represent all voices fairly and make decisions that help the whole school.
What initiatives do you have in mind to improve the overall school experience for your fellow students?
I plan to improve school life by organizing fun events that include everyone, creating easy ways for students to share their ideas, and supporting projects that reduce stress and promote well-being.
How might your academic and extracurricular obligations next year impact your role as a member of Student Council?
I am good at managing my time and will balance academics, activities, and Student Council duties to stay on top of everything. Since I am interested in musicals and singing, I can also help organize music and performance events that many students enjoy.
